Make It Monday #61

What a fun challenge on the Papertrey ink website posted HERE...I do not have many non-flower dies, but since I received the Rosie Posie stamp set and dies I knew their interesting shapes had other possibilities.  To make my flower, I cut the lower left leaf of the main stem and fashioned 8 of these cuts in a circle, and then placed a circle image also from Rosie Posie at the middle  to create the centre of the flower.  The leaves are from Turning a New Leaf. Next a sentiment was stamped, and the white panel  was placed on Berry Sorbet cardstock.  Such fun

  1. Very creative, this turned out looking like it was supposed to be a flower all along. Great job with the challenge!

  2. Love your bold flower and sentiment. Gr8 card.

  3. This is beautiful I love the way this turned out, and I love the colors. The leaves looks shinny is that just wet ink? Beautiful!

  4. These made an awesome flower and I love the simple beauty of your card! :)

  5. Beautiful card. I love how the flower turned out!

  6. I would never have guessed this was made from a non-flower die! Very cool!

  7. This is really pretty, and very clever! I've had a little nose through some of your other cards, love your CAS style! Following :) M x

  8. I like that the petals are curvy and pair so well with the sentiment! Also, I really like the colors you selected for your card.
