Make it Monday (on a Thursday)

I am not admitting how much time I spent on this card.  I made every mistake possible:  I messed up on stamping the background, embossing powder went astray and got in the way of the sentiment, the lines were blotchy at the corners, I won't bore you with the rest.  I do hope you like the card.  And I do love  frames on a card.

My attempt at a cheerful Easter card.  The color is a little washed out, it was so bright and sunny.  Tomorrow I am cooking Easter dinner, salmon and chicken...Yum!

Hi,
It's a beautiful spring day here in NS, the sunshine can be inspiring!  I am excited that I have 3 full days off in a row, and I hope to accomplish probably way too much!I am posting another C&S card,  I seem to gravitate toward that style.  Hope you like it.

For the love of Poppies

I have always loved poppies and I see the new foliage is just breaking ground here in Nova Scotia!  There are so many great poppy stamps available, it is easy to want them all.   Cheers to poppies

Here is a card I made in response to Clean and Simple's FTL 132 before I had my blog up and running.  This is a quick post as my daughter just called me-- first day of a new job at a sandwich  place and she is lonely as it is very quiet-- so thought I'd surprise her by popping in with my Mom and ordering up!
